At Prolight Design, we’re thrilled to announce our sponsorship of Will Scaplehorn, aspiring professional cyclist. Our partnership with Will goes beyond covering the cost of his bike but also extends to supporting his training, competitions, and endeavours to raise awareness for causes close to his heart.
Currently enrolled in the British Cycling Diploma in Sporting Excellence and also pursuing a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Coaching and Cycling Performance at the SGS College Cycling Academy, Will exemplifies a passion for cycling both on and off the bike.
But the adventure doesn’t stop there. In May he will be travelling to France to produce a documentary for Youtube about the 2012 Tour de France and will be completing a stage for each British rider who won in that year. This will be a sponsored event and serve as a fundraising initiative for the MS Society, a cause close to Will’s heart, he plans to leverage this opportunity to raise awareness and funds for those affected by the condition.

We’re excited and very happy to support Will in reaching his ultimate goal of a pro-cycling contract. He certainly has the mettle and desire to get there, and we’re proud to support a young local athlete, providing him with his first aero bike and offering him onward support to the next level.
