With a full luminaire specification created to unique requirements, Prolight proceeds with a full design using Solid Works & AutoCAD to ensure the product not only meets but exceeds standards set out. Once prototypes meet the product specification, its onto testing and inspection. Once all parties agree, the product is fully certificated for the desired market, be it the UK, Europe or even Asia.
Prolight is committed as a professional lighting supplier to ensure all our products meet or exceed our own high expectations in terms of quality and performance. To ensure this, we only work with professional partners. Prolight as manufacturers, suppliers and full members of the LIA, ensure all products meet the relevant standards within CE, ENEC, LVD, EMCD, RED, ERPD and RoHS.
Prolight’s partnerships with freight forwarders ensure we keep transport times and carbon footprint to a minimum. The option of sea freight or ‘fast train’ ensures products arrive on time, every time. Having worked with many foreign destinations with various manufacturers we are able to ensure timely processing of products through customs. Not only do Prolight warranty the products onsite but we also ensure the product from manufacture all the way to the final destination.
To ensure delays in transport and customs are kept to a minimum Prolight and our Partners ensure a rigorous pre-shipment inspection is carried out. With large volume shipments, Prolight undertakes a prearrival inspection with a sample or samples being flown over pre-sea freight to ensure the products can be fast-tracked through the test and inspection process. With all shipments arriving from outside Europe, all goods must undergo vigorous electrical safety checks from earth leakage all the way through to flash/load testing in accordance with the LIA standards and procedures. This step above all others is maybe the most important in terms of ensuring a safe product is delivered every time. On arrival, all goods will be subject to a vigorous inspection process undertaken in our very own workshop.
With a strong in-house design team using the latest software including AutoCAD and SolidWorks we produce Lighting Layouts to the latest industry standards and to extremely tight deadlines. With our fully qualified and dedicated design team, we can turn around fully designed RCP drawings within 48hrs notice to ensure no delays with our clients.
To ensure all products can be quickly picked, packed and dispatched we store all our products under one roof rather than across multiple sites. We understand retail and the short lead times this can necessitate. With all our stock under one roof, we can react to increasingly short timescales, without sacrificing our stringent distribution checks and processes. Prolight Design's buildings are fully insured and secured with CCTV and alarms to ensure peace of mind for our client’s pre-paid stock.
With all the products picked and ready for shipment we ensure the most effective method of packaging is chosen for both cost and environmental impact. We also ensure all boxes are sealed with Prolight Design Tape to ease onsite identification of lighting products. With our dedicated warehouse team, we are able to pick pack and ship a store within 72hrs to ensure we meet the tight deadlines. All goods once picked are photographed, before and after packaging. This ensures we can help with any onsite queries with regards to missing items or product identification.
