Aston Villa Football Club recently set out to redefine it’s premium hospitality experience, creating a series of high-end spaces that blend luxury, exclusivity, and club heritage fit for a Champions League Club. Prolight Design were able to play a key role in this transformation – designing, manufacturing, and supplying a range of core and bespoke lighting solutions to elevate the atmosphere in these prestigious new venues.
The team at Prolight Design worked closely with leading experience agency 20.20 to develop a series of lighting designs to complement the unique character of each hospitality area. From intimate fine-dining settings to grand entertaining spaces, our lighting enhances every detail to help create an immersive experience for guests.
As one of the most exclusive spaces in Villa Park, The Chairman’s Suite demanded a lighting scheme that exudes sophistication. We incorporated Dali Dingo Pro track lights in black, paired with Amber Tiered Glass Shade Pendants to create a refined ambiance that balances warmth and grandeur.
The Oak Room is steeped in Aston Villa’s rich history and to honour its legacy, our lighting design seamlessly blends warm ambient lighting with contemporary touches. The Abacus pendant lights highlight the stunning timber-panelled walls, while additional accents emphasise the club’s European Cup-winning heritage, making this space the pinnacle of hospitality in the Trinity Stand.
Located within the Trinity Stand, the 150 Club required a lighting solution that adapts to different atmospheres—whether it’s a lively pre-match build-up or an elegant post-match celebration. The 150 Club features our small form factor Bing Track lights and LED panels, complemented by Elma pendant lights for decorative accents. The result? A seamless transition between high-energy excitement and luxurious relaxation.
The Trophy Suite showcases Aston Villa’s greatest achievements, and our lighting enhances the storytelling within this space. Carefully positioned wall lights provide a warm glow that highlights the historic trophies on display, ensuring that every guest can appreciate the club’s legacy in an atmosphere of understated luxury.
From concept to completion, Prolight Design’s bespoke lighting solutions define the premium hospitality experience at Aston Villa, proving that the right lighting doesn’t just illuminate a space – it transforms it.
