The largest Lush store in Scotland opened just before the Christmas period at the end of 2023. With experiential concepts, coffee shop and a community focus, the 20,000 sqft store is a showstopper.

The site was originally Borders Bookshop, the store design has put this at the heart of the design by retaining a lot of the original fixtures, one in particular being the ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ display cabinet. Additionally, the cabinets stock a selection of books, a nod to the location’s history and one of the Lush founders, Mark Constantine, and his love for books, poetry and nature.

The lighting concept features the very first release of our GEN-E lighting collection which delivers a new benchmark in energy efficiency and sustainability. Not content to stop there, the lighting also features the latest Al Technology in the shape of our new ActiveEffect Track Spotlight. The Active Effect combines advanced colour-responsive LED technology with colour rendering up to CRl95. The dynamic colour response technology detects the product display colour and optimises the colour saturation level to give maximum impact. This advanced lighting technology combines perfectly with the rich colour palette of LUSH products with exceptional results.
