The latest M&S Café concept marks a significant transformation in both design and atmosphere. This isn’t just any new café—this is the new M&S Café! The bold, dynamic concept creates a genuine sense of hospitality, with a warm, welcoming environment that invites customers to experience and enjoy. Already, this new design has been successfully rolled out to multiple locations across the UK, including Leeds White Rose, Manchester Trafford Centre, Lakeside Kent and Leicester Fosse Park.

Prolight Design led the design and supply of the lighting solution for this innovative café concept. The lighting scheme was carefully developed using a sleek black track system, perfectly complementing the new architecture and colour palette. We combined dark-light linear elements with accent spotlighting, selecting a warm 2700K tone to enhance the inviting atmosphere. The high CRI (Colour Rendering Index) ensures the food and beverage offerings are displayed in their best light.

These projects also included the design and manufacture of large bespoke versions of the Goodhew Pendant, alongside a curated selection of decorative lighting, creating a comprehensive and cohesive lighting solution for each location.
