We were thrilled to have been involved in the brand new 21,000 sqft River Island flagship store in the Trafford Centre, Manchester. This showstopping store is now the biggest store in the River Island portfolio.
Taking inspiration from the River Studios concept in Derby, the Manchester Trafford Centre store takes this concept and pushes it to the next level. With a large focus on the boutique feel, lower light levels, bespoke pendants, new store concepts, the Trafford store is the biggest and best store yet.
We worked closely with the River Island design team on the lighting design, in particular the bespoke pendants seen throughout the store. A practical design feature whilst differentiating the store’s distinct zones to emphasise the boutique and personal feel.
As ever, our Design team were conscious of ensuring the lighting would be cost and energy efficient, using the Philips Premium White LED, providing true colour performance and also industry-leading efficiencies of 128lm/watt.
