Prolight Design had the privilege of designing, manufacturing, and supplying the lighting for Tesla’s largest dealership in the North of England on Ashton New Road, Manchester. Set near Manchester City’s football stadium, this impressive new store is designed to provide customers with a seamless experience for purchasing, servicing, and charging their vehicles.

This latest addition to Tesla’s portfolio is part of the company’s broader mission to accelerate the UK’s transition to sustainable energy. As a one-stop shop, it’s set to cater to the ever-growing demand for electric vehicles in Manchester, following the success of Tesla’s collection centre in Trafford Park and its sales and service store in Stockport.

We knew that the lighting for this space needed to reflect the brand’s drive for innovation while enhancing the overall customer experience. Our team worked strategically to create a lighting solution that not only illuminates the space but also elevates the modern and minimalist aesthetic of the showroom.

For this project, we utilised a range of our cutting-edge lighting products including:

Glow High Bay: These high-performance fixtures provide powerful, uniform lighting, ideal for illuminating Tesla’s large showroom spaces.

LED Panels: Our energy-efficient LED panels deliver bright, clean light. They perfectly complementing the sleek design of Tesla’s products and branding.

Dingo Track Mounted Fittings in White: These flexible track-mounted fittings offer precise lighting control, allowing the spotlight to be placed exactly where it’s needed or to highlight a specific area of the showroom

Emergency and Back-of-House Fittings: Safety and functionality were also top priorities, and our back-of-house and emergency lighting solutions ensure that the entire space is well-lit and secure.

The result is a beautifully lit showroom that not only showcases Tesla’s innovative vehicles but also reflects their forward-thinking brand identity. The clean, crisp lighting helps create an inviting atmosphere for customers while reinforcing the modern, tech-driven ethos that Tesla is known for.
