The journey for Wingstop in the UK began in 2018 with a signature menu of 10 flavours of wings from the super spicy “atomic” at the hot end of the scale to the more mild “lemon and pepper” at the other. As Wingstop opens its 50^th site in the UK, we reflect on the highlight of our roll-out with them with a closer look at their flagship store in Westfield Stratford that opened earlier this year.

The Wingstop restaurants all boast modern and vibrant interiors with a digital emphasis. The unique lighting concept utilises the Prolight Design “Bop Micro” profile which creates laser thin light lines across the space. The lighting design approach is such that the light lines create a dynamic, bright and yet comfortable space. Careful consideration of the frequency of the light lines cleverly delivers the effect of a ceiling plane without a ceiling.

The Wingstop at Westfield Stratford is the largest Wingstop in the UK at over 5,000sqft and with space for over 160 covers and features the latest generation of our “Bop Micro” lighting. The “Bop Micro” is one of our high sustainability products which is extensively made in the UK. Not only is the finished product made in our UK production facility, but the main aluminium profile is also produced to our design in the UK from aluminium with a high proportion of recycled content. To ensure the highest possible quality and efficiency of the LED and electronics we exclusively use Osram professional components.
